Aromatherapy Nebulizers From Diffuser World (1)
Aromatherapy Nebulizer - Aromatherapy Nebulizers information
Aromatic oils are often thought to be the 'life-force' of the plants in which they are found and their effect on the human body is the basis of aromatherapy. Apart from promoting a state of well-being and harmony, particular oils have specific therapeutic properties. Nearly all essential oils tend to be powerful antiseptics, which destroy bacteria and viruses. They promote the holistic ideal by stimulating the immune system, thereby encouraging the body to resist disease, as well as improving the circulation system, relieving pain and reducing fluid retention.
What is an Aromatherapy Nebulizer?
Aromatherapy nebulizers are useful and ingenious designs which operate with an almost science-like precision. One of the best ways to absorb the properties of plant oil is through direct inhalation and the Nebulizer is what promises to deliver just that. This device literally "spits" out a barely visible stream of atomized particles from the essential oils of your choice. These particles are so small it appears to resemble smoke when it billows out the chamber and produces an almost humid effect in the room it rests in.
The nebulizer consists of a system that uses air pressure generated by a compressing unit to vaporize the essential oils. A glass nebulizing bulb serves as a condenser allowing only the finest particles of the essential oil to escape into the air.
The condensed droplets of essential oil flow back down to be nebulized again. This results in the ionization of the oils. This process breaks down the essential oils into their smallest components. It is a standard pump, usually housed in a base, resembling a fish aquarium pump. Here the user directly breathes in the dispersed oil and a fragrance will fill the room within seconds!
Suspending a fine mist of essential oils into the air for aromatherapy is another method of using essential oils for therapeutic treatments. These nebulizers diffuse the essential oils on a current of air as it passes through a glass chamber.
This process naturally suspends and ionizes the oil into very fine molecules. In so doing, they are more readily available and since the molecules are so fine, they become suspended in the air for long periods.
Nebulizers (Atomizers) use a small pump and specialized glass to disperse the molecules into the air in a fine mist. This type of diffusion uses NO HEAT.
Since Nebulizers put a fine molecular mist of essential oils into the air, they should only be used for a few minutes at a time. The mist of essential oils permeates the air rather quickly.
These units are not meant to be used for continuous diffusion but rather for only 7 - 10 minutes at a time or with a measured amount of essential oils. Longer periods of time could put a higher than needed concentration of essential oils into the air.
In large rooms, a nebulizer is an ideal method of diffusing essential oils. These devices are very powerful tools. They diffuse a large amount of essential oil into the air quickly and accordingly, they are also great for treating ailments where the air must be very concentrated with essential oils. This does indeed mean that this one of the quickest and safest methods for fast absorption. We therefore strongly recommend that you use a timer with all nebulizers/atomizers.
